WORKSHOP CASTING:

We'd like to thank everyone who has applied for our Spring 2020 R&D week so far. The work will be based on an original adaptation of Anne Brontë's novel 'Agnes Grey'.

We've decided to extend our search a little further, this time with a focus on female/NB actors aged around 40+.

As always, we encourage interest from actors of all backgrounds & ethnicities.

Experienced singers and movers would be ideal, but not essential.

Please email [email protected] with CV/Spotlight link and cover letter before Wednesday 23rd October at 6pm.

Workshop-style auditions will take place in central Manchester on Monday 28th October (times TBC).

Please note - this will be a Manchester-based project. We are currently pursuing funding with the aim of making this a paid project.

ACTORS CALLOUT

BAPS Theatre are seeking actors with experience in devising & R&D for a week-long intensive project to develop a piece of new writing further. Good physical skills and confident singing is preferred, as well as being comfortable with improvisation and open to receptive ensemble work.

We're open to a fully diverse range of applicants, inclusive of all ages, backgrounds & ethnicities.

The week will be scheduled in Spring 2020 (TBC) and we are currently in the process of applying for funding to make it a paid project.

Sessions will be group workshop-style, last a couple of hours, and are to be held on Monday October 28th (exact times and venue TBC).
