Meet the people behind Flight Crowd ✈️

Behind every Flight Crowd project are people who are passionate about making aerospace more accessible, inclusive and exciting for the next generation.

Today, we’re introducing one of our incredible volunteers — an Aerospace Engineering PhD researcher whose work sits at the fascinating intersection of technology, human experience and the future of Aviation.

From VR simulations and advanced air mobility to human factors, safety and technology acceptance, their research explores what it will actually feel like to be a passenger in the aircraft of tomorrow.

And beyond research, they’re helping us build a more inclusive aerospace community as part of the Flight Crowd EDI team.

We’re so excited to have them with us — and even more excited to see where their research takes them next 🚀

Aviation is so much more than what happens in the cockpit ✈️

During our Open Skies Pathways Norwich Experience, students got the chance to step behind the scenes and discover how aircraft are safely guided into position on the apron — a process known as aircraft marshalling.

It’s one of those moments that turns Aviation enthusiasts into professionals working in Future Flight!

Because sometimes, the best way to learn about Aviation is to experience it first-hand (and our team are here to help😉 )

For six years, we’ve been working to inspire, connect and support the next generation of Aviation professionals - creating opportunities, opening doors and showing young people how they can shape the Future of Flight.

From mentoring and career events to Aerospace skills workshops, boot camps, webinars and community projects - every step of this journey has been made possible by the amazing people who support our mission. 🤍
