Changes to Manchester Airport..

📢 Reminder! From 19th November, all airlines, except Ryanair, will operate from Terminal 2.

This change is part of our £1.3bn transformation programme, bringing more airlines into our upgraded terminal and improving facilities for passengers.

Further parts of Terminal 2 will be opening over the coming months including the Great Northern Market, the airport’s first Wetherspoons pub, new shops and bars including Fever Tree, and a new pier that will allow more flights to depart from the Terminal.

As part of our multi-million-pound investment, we'll be expanding Terminal 3 to make use of space that will be available when Terminal 1 closes. Some new parts of Terminal 3 will open early next year, including new sports bar Sporting Chance.

Last night I had 2 airports clash cuz one was quite delayed and one was landing early.. Stress levels were thru the roof!! But even tho it was thru the night the minibus/taxi community between them helped me get thru it.. I’m a keep myself to myself kind of person so don’t speak to all drivers on a regular basis and some drivers I’d never spoke to before but can honestly say it restored my faith in humanity!!! They’re a really good bunch!! Thanks to everyone who helped me out last night and who have helped me out previously.. Means the world🩷

So a guy has gone to the Liverpool match yesterday and has come out to see his minibus completely trashed.. As a fellow minibus driver I understand how hard it is when ur bus is off the road, ur losing work and u have to pay for ur repairs.. So if any of u can donate to help with the repairs that would be absolutely amazing!!! If not if u could share hopefully it can get out there and he can get some donations.. Thanks in advance🙏🙏🙏

Due to ongoing works to improve your security experience, we are asking departing passengers to arrive at the airport three hours before their flight.

Over the next few weeks, we are upgrading our remaining security lanes to the brand-new Next Gen equipment.

During this period, security processing times are likely to be longer than you're used to, so we are recommending that departing passengers arrive at the airport three hours before their flight.

A change brought about with this new security equipment is that, whilst liquid items are still restricted to a container size of up to 100ml, these items along with large electrical devices like laptops and iPads can all now remain in hand luggage as they pass through the security screening equipment.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Got an hour between dropping at the airport and picking up.. To early for shopping so it’s a Wetherspoons breakfast with free brew refills.. Cheaper than parking at the airport and it’s nice and warm!! Ha!!
