DRIVER WANTED!!!
At RML Transport, we specialise in high end corporate vehicle transport.
Our family have been in the motor trade for over 2 decades from repair centres to transport services.
We have built a reputation for excellent customer service and attention to detail, working with large dealer networks all over the country. Due to customer demand we are now expanding and looking for a new driver to help us with our plans and grow with the business.
About the role
We are currently looking for someone to add to our team to drive a C + E combination. Currently this is a 8.5T Mercedes Atego (Auto) towing a 3.5T Brian James T6 trailer.
This role will be based in Carrington (M31) and is full time Monday - Friday average 50 hours per week. As with any transport job hours are varied and flexibility will be needed in order to help meet deadlines. Early starts are a regular thing as with most driving roles so please expect this when going any distance.
Nights out will be required, sometimes weeks there will be none and other weeks it could be a couple of days. No more than twice per week will be required.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standard of customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transport of vehicles to various locations across the UK.

For this role you must:
Hold a valid C+E / Class 1 driver's license
Hold a valid driver CPC
Hold a valid digital tachograph card
Be over 25 years of age and no more than 3 points (insurance purposes).
Be reliable, and take responsibility for meeting delivery deadlines.
Vehicle transport experience desired or a minimum of 2 years previous experience.
Have strong attention to detail, when loading / unloading customers vehicles and completing proof of collection and delivery reports.
Have strong knowledge of drivers hours and road traffic laws.

£825 per week PAYE / £900 per week self-employed

£30 p/n allowance when staying out along with secure parking paid for
£20 p/m contribution to phone contract for use of daily walk round check and vehicle proof of delivery app.
£250 quarterly performance bonus for no equipment damage
We are looking for someone ideally to start in the next 2 weeks in order to be trained and ready to go for September when the new 76 plate is released.
