As of 7th September, Aberdeen Marine are on-site and have started the works on Jary's Wharf.
They will be working from a barge adjacent to Jary's Wharf, and there will be diving operations throughout the works.
Diving operations will be notified on VHF Channel 9, and a flag will be displayed when divers are in the water.
Works are scheduled to be ongoing until mid-December.

⛵These free, drop-in events take place on Monday 14th September 13.30-15.00 and 17.00-18.30 (Mallaig) and Friday 18th September 17.00-18.30 (Inverie).

We were delighted to welcome Graham Simpson MSP to the Harbour yesterday. While there are many transport challenges throughout Scotland at the moment, we hope that by raising the profile of some of the issues faced locally, we can continue to work with partners to attract the funding to resolve those associated with our lack of capacity at the Harbour.

We've had a few issues recently with vehicles parking along the edge of the fish pier. Please note that vehicles should not be parked along the edge of the pier in such a way as to obstruct vessel mooring operations.
There should be no vehicles parked beyond the prawn market.
Any cars parked there are at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any damage caused by mooring ropes hitting vehicles etc.
We have been out this afternoon with notices reminding people of this, so don't be surprised if you come back and find one on your windscreen!

It's the biggest game of the season (so far!) for Mallaig FC tomorrow in Evanton. Wishing them all the best and 🤞 for a win!
