A state-of-the-art ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) from our partners Outland Technology, the ROV 1500 is not only easy to deploy and operate, but customising its use is simple.

It has a depth rating of 2000 feet (600 metres) and its open frame design makes it the perfect ROV for customisation and adaptation. This isn’t just a ROV with a camera, it can be equipped with whatever you need to make it a true workhorse of the underwater world.

Drop anchor at our chandlery in Macduff! ⚓

If you're anywhere along the Moray Firth, we're your local. The nearest publicly available chandlery south of here? That's Edinburgh!! Lots of miles by road. Inverness is lots of miles in the other direction. But we're right here in Macduff harbour with 5,000 square feet packed with everything you need for your boat.

Ropes, fenders, safety kit, maintenance supplies, antifoul, engine parts –- if you need it, we've probably got it on the shelf. If we haven't, we'll source it for you. No pressure, no hard sell, no trying to sell you things you don't need. Just people who know boats, helping people who use boats. 🌊

With the cost of living seemingly always getting higher, joint ownership could be one way for you to enjoy all the pleasures of owning a boat, while splitting the impact on time and finances.

Here in Macduff we have heard a lot of great stories from our ROV operators.

ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) allow us to explore the world underwater and – while there are plenty of practical applications in the academic, scientific and corporate spheres – sometimes it’s just cool to discover places without getting too wet!
