Still lots going on through Covid. The odd broken mast to inspect. Scandinavia was relitavely untroubled by the disease and enjoyed the summer being a bit careful. Refreshed the www.windshiptechnology.com website which is worth a look if you are Covid bored, or interested in emissions savings. Not done a lot of sailing this year. All plans for a month in the Med dashed, maybe next year. Hope you are all well. Regards David

Parma Plast has launched a soft, flexible and strong protective profile made of foamed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU).

09/05/2018

New Parma UniversalFender® Provides Strong, Flexible
Protection For Pilings, Jetties and Other Exposed Areas

STRAUME, NORWAY – The new Parma UniversalFender® provides strong, flexible protection for pilings at marinas, fuel docks, private docks, quays or jetties to prevent accidental damage to an approaching vessel. It is also ideal for other exposed areas, like garage walls and pillars, other exposed walls, sport arenas and play parks, trucks, trolleys, tailers, warehouse ramps and much more.

The foamed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) combined with airfilled spaces in the profile, is extra shock absorbing. The profile can be mounted around very narrow radiuses as well as corners, making it suitable for a variety of applications in both Marine and other markets. Since UniversalFender’s launch in March this year over 4000 meters have been sold

The operating temperature of the TPU material ranges from -40°C up to +80°C and is UV-stabilized, so it is suitable in all kinds of environments. Manufactured of 100% recycled material, and it is also 100% recyclable, it can be ordered in a range of colours.

Dimensions: ~H: 90mm ~B: 30mm

The product can be delivered in bulk, directly from the production, but can also be delivered in smaller display-boxes, ideal for retailers and other dealers.

For more information about UniversalFender, www.parmaplast.com/products/parma-universalfender or call Barrow International, +44 1590 688332.

Only the best dock fendering is good enough for his majesty King Harald and Queen Sonya of Norway, when they approach with their royal barges. See that they do not need to deploy barges normal fenders, allowing eaisier access with ParmaFender, just a small step to board.
