How has it been almost 2 weeks already?!

Still reminiscing about our annual Haven Quay party, what a night!

A huge thank you to all who joined us and making it such a memorable evening. We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the night possible, from our team and suppliers to everyone behind the scenes.

Week ending 21st August — Haven Quay update

Another busy week at Haven Quay, with more lifts and scrubs keeping us on our toes — and plenty of sunshine making the whole job a little more enjoyable!

The warm weather is certainly keeping the boats busy, and we’re seeing plenty of activity around the yard and out on the water. Not a bad way to spend August.

Here’s to another sunny weekend and plenty more time afloat! ☀️

Week ending 14th August — Haven Quay update

Another busy week at Haven Quay, with plenty of launches keeping us on our toes and lots of boats making the most of the summer weather.

We’ve had more boats ashore for lift and scrubs as the season continues. There’s nothing quite like seeing the difference once they’re out of the water!

Looking a little further ahead, we’ll soon be offering trailer inspections at our sister site in Lymington. With the end of the main season approaching, it’s a good opportunity to make sure your trailer is in good shape before the winter months. **Week ending 31st July — Haven Quay update**

Another fantastic week of sunshine has kept both the yard and the Solent busy.

Alongside our usual lifts and launches, we've also been busy with a number of antifouling jobs. If your hull is looking a little worse for wear after a busy season, now's a great time to get ahead of it. We offer free hull assessments and tailored antifouling packages to suit your boat, taking the hard work off your hands.

We'd like to wish everyone a cracking weekend, and the very best of luck to all who are taking part in Cowes Week.

Week ending 24th July — Haven Quay update

Another busy week at Haven Quay, with plenty of lifts keeping us moving.

We’re definitely noticing the effects of this spell of warm weather — the combination of sunshine and warmer water has encouraged a fair bit of growth on most boats we’ve lifted recently. Thankfully, a good lift and scrub soon gets things looking shipshape again!

If your boat doesn’t seem to be running quite as it should, or you think it could benefit from a clean underneath, get in touch with the team to arrange a lift and scrub. We’re always happy to help get you back on the water performing at your best.

**Week ending 17th July — Haven Quay update**

It's been another busy week at Haven Quay, with plenty of lifts keeping the team on their toes.

We should probably have more photos to share... but the weather's been so good and the yard so busy that remembering to stop and take them hasn't been top of the priority list!

Week ending 26th June — Haven Quay update

The heatwave has properly arrived this week (just in case you hadn't heard), and the Solent has been basking in the sunshine. Lots of boats out enjoying what can only be described as proper boating weather.

Back at the quay, it’s been non-stop. Plenty of lifts and launches, including this Saxdor for Ancasta International Boat Sales, alongside a healthy amount of antifouling. The yard’s been working flat out to keep everyone moving and making sure everyone can get out on time.

We even managed to shut the doors one evening and remind ourselves what the sunshine looks like from the other side, (strictly for research purposes).

** 22nd June — Haven Quay update**

Blue skies, warm sunshine and that proper summer feel that makes everything just a bit easier.

We had a bit of a mix in the jobs this week — a boat lifted for antifoul as the warm weather has really encouraged growth, plus a couple of other lifts keeping things moving. We even managed to get out last night for a fishing trip round the back of the island, making the most of the conditions.

Forecasts are still looking very promising going forward, so we’re hoping this run of good weather sticks around for a while yet. As always drop us a line or pop in to the office if there's anything we can do for you
