With diesel prices heading the way they are, we’ve had to make a few minor adjustments to the Move It Right fleet…

🚚❌ Diesel van
🐴🐴✅ 2 HORSEPOWER! literally!

The lads aren’t overly impressed with the new top speed, and long distance removals might take us approximately 3–5 working weeks… but just look at the fuel savings! 😂

There are a couple of downsides though…

💩 More frequent “service stops”
🥕 Drivers now demanding carrots instead of meal allowances
🐴 Horses refusing jobs with too many stairs
😂 And our estimated arrival times have become very approximate!

But don’t worry… whether it’s diesel power or HORSEPOWER, Move It Right will still get you moved! 💪💚💛

🐶✂️ ENDING THE WEEK ON A PAW..SITIVE NOTE! 🐾🛁

We finished off another busy week with a very important delivery… and this one was staying in the family! 😂💪

Our final job was delivering AND installing a brand new dog grooming table for our friends over at Groom It Right! 🐕✨

Their bathing area has had a little upgrade, ready for even more four legged customers to get scrubbed, pampered and leave looking absolutely fabulous! 🫧🐩💅

Of course, we couldn’t just drop it at the door… full delivery and installation service from the Move It Right boys! 🚚🔧😂

Another week done, another happy customer… although we’re still waiting for payment in the form of puppy cuddles! 🐶❤️

🦘🚛 ONE LAST RUN FOR ROO… ❤️

Today was a bit of a sad one for the Move It & Store It Right team, as our lovely Roo headed out on what will most likely be her final job! 🥹

As many of you know, we name all of our vans, and Roo is the oldest girl in our fleet. She’s been with us through countless house moves, long days, early starts and thousands upon thousands of miles including 27 trips abroad! … but unfortunately, the time has come for her to hang up her keys and enjoy a well earned retirement! ❤️🚛

But Roo wasn’t going out quietly… 💪

For potentially her last important mission, today she helped move a dog agility company into their new home! 🐶🐾🏡

Not a bad final job for the old girl! 🦘❤️

She’s certainly earned her retirement and has been a massive part of the Move It & Store It Right journey.

BUT… 👀👀👀

When one chapter ends, another one begins…

Keep your eyes peeled because we’ve got some VERY exciting fleet news coming soon! 🤫🚛✨

All we’ll say is… Roo might be retiring, but her replacement has some pretty big tyres to fill! 😏

🚚 MANCHESTER ➡️ LOWESTOFT! 🎓🏠

The Move It Right boys have been clocking up the miles again, this time heading up to Manchester to collect one of our customers who has officially finished university and is heading home to Lowestoft! 🎓👏

And when we pulled up… we realised we’d better hope they weren’t on the top floor! 😂🏢⬆️
What a building!!

Even better, this job came our way through our continued sponsorship and support of Kirkley & Pakefield FC 💛🖤⚽️

That’s exactly why we love supporting our local clubs and community! you never know where the connections will take you… apparently sometimes all the way to Manchester! 😂

♻️ TURNING WASTE INTO SOMETHING WONDERFUL! 💚

Today has been all about giving back to our local community here at Move It and Store It Right! 🚛💪

🪑 First stop! YMCA!

During one of our removals today, a customer had two lovely chairs they no longer needed. Rather than seeing them go to waste, we donated them to our friends at YMCA, where they can be put to good use and given a new lease of life! ❤️

🔩 Next stop! Scrap Metal for a Good Cause!

Today we also headed over to deliver any metal we have had from jobs and around our units to Lauren Lou Fundraising!
The fantastic team collect scrap metal and turn it into funds that go straight back into supporting projects within our local community! 🙌
It's amazing how something that might otherwise be thrown away can make such a positive difference to someone else!

🚚➡️🚤 WHEN A REMOVAL VAN JUST WON’T CUT IT! 😂

Well… today’s removal came with a slightly different delivery method!

Our customer needed their belongings delivered to their new home, but there was one small problem…

There are NO ROADS to the property! 😳

So, naturally, we swapped four wheels for a boat! 🚤😂

Every item was carefully wrapped and protected using our specialist plastic removal covers, loaded onto the customer’s boat and then transported up the river to their home! 🌊🏡

Mattresses, furniture and belongings all travelling by water certainly not something the lads get to do on your average removal! 😂

At Move It & Store It Right, we’ve always said we’ll do everything we can to get your belongings where they need to go…

Apparently that now includes BY LAND OR BY WATER! 🚚🚤🤣

A really enjoyable and unusual job for the team today, and another happy customer successfully moved into their property 💪 🏡 📦 🚤

No road? No problem. We’ll bring the boat! 😂🚤

Super proud of The Bulldogs Netball Club!

We started with them from the very beginning and will be with them on every journey! ❤️

Might even get the boys into a dress one day for a game……. 🤣😜

🐾🩷🖤 THE BULLDOGS FIRST EVER TOURNAMENT! 🖤🩷🐾

Well… what a day!! 🥹

Today The Bulldogs took on their very first ever tournament, just 9 weeks after starting out, and we honestly couldn’t be prouder of what this little team has achieved! 🐾

It wasn’t all the results we were hoping for, but there were SO many positives to take from today. We held some really strong teams to low scores, worked incredibly hard and came away with 2 wins! And a draw! 🙌🏻🔥

Then came our final game, playing for the Bowl… and after drawing the game, we only missed out on the Bowl on goal difference! 😭👏🏻

Considering we have new players, a brand new team and have only been training together for 9 weeks, the girls genuinely pulled it out of the bag! 🥹🩷

But for us, today wasn’t just about the results.

It was about the Bulldog spirit. 🐾

Through every high and low, the girls kept their heads up, supported each other, kept fighting and, most importantly, kept smiling! 🥹🩷 That is exactly what The Bulldogs is all about.

We are building something really special here, and today showed just how much progress these girls have made in such a short space of time. 💪🏻

And to every single Bulldog who took to the court today…

You should be incredibly proud of yourselves. 🥹🩷

🎱🚚 Not every move needs a removal van… sometimes it’s just a pool table going down the hall! 😂

This morning we popped over to a local supported children’s home after they contacted us for a quote to move their pool table into another room! 🏡

We turned up! got it moved safely and set up in its new spot ready for the children to carry on enjoying it! 🎱🙌

Then came the important bit… the bill!

£0.00! Absolutely nothing! ❤️

They do an amazing job supporting children in our community so there was no way we were going to charge them for lending a hand!

Sometimes business is about making money…

And sometimes it’s about saying “Don’t worry about it, we’ve got you.” 💙
