Billie has taken a trip back home to Weston super Mare and met with some of her old friends. The first time they’ll have been back together in this colour scheme for about 30 years!

Take a trip down memory lane this Sunday 26 March (10am – 4pm) with free activities for the whole family to enjoy! 😀 Sunnyside Garden Centre in Ibstock and Snibston Colliery Park, Coalville will be hosting the 🚍 Browns Blue Turns Midlands Red 🚍 60th Anniversary event:

🚌 Free Heritage Bus rides around the Coalville area plus vehicle displays by the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust!
👀 Meet the miners! Former local coal miners will explain how the historic Snibston Colliery worked in the 1970’s and the machinery used underground.
📽 Watch some amazing archived bus transport films at the Century Theatre (by kind permission of the British Film Institute) 11.30am and 1.30pm.

🚨 Bus Trip Alert 🚨

What better way to celebrate the start of 2023 than with bus trip on Billie!

We are heading to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway on Sunday the 1st January 2023.

Provisional stops are Loughborough, Sutton Bonnington and Sheffield (but others will be considered upon request). We will confirm exact departure times prior to the 31st December so keep an eye out!

Let us know if you are planning to join us, and where you would like to board.

Beatrice will be back at her favourite place this weekend to support Leicester Transport Heritage Trust’s Midland Red event at Quorn and Woodhouse Station. She won’t be alone, Dennis the dominator and some of their other friends will be there too! Come down and join the fun, there’ll be lots to see and do!

Black t-shirts were perhaps not our best work, but we weren't predicting temperatures nearing 40ºC for future bus events when we chose the colour! ☀️ Mandatory team photo in front of the bus, and a few trips on the miniature railway in between shuttles ✅

It's always sunny in Costa del Ruddington! Temperatures were soaring this time last year at the NABS bus rally and the weather is set to be just as warm this year ☀️ Beatrice has recently undergone a major retrofit and is fully air conditioned in preparation for the weekend heat.*
