Meet the Avanti Ducks – Pinky & Percky! 🦆

We feel incredibly lucky to work in such a beautiful location, surrounded by stunning views, peaceful walks by the lock, and of course… a bit of unexpected but very welcome wildlife!

Recently, we've gained two adorable new "team members" – meet Pinky and Percky, our resident ducks! 🦆🦆

You’ll often find them waddling alongside us from the car park in the morning, joining us for lunchtime strolls, or sunbathing under the table at Trent Lock Pub. This week, they even queued with us for ice cream – talk about team spirit! 🍦

Working at Avanti means not just having a great office, but also enjoying the little joys that come with it, especially our two feathered friends who make every day that bit more special. 💛

We’re still buzzing from all the love and support – thank you so much to everyone who came along, cheered us on, and helped make it such a special event.

A massive shoutout to all the generous people and local businesses who donated raffle prizes – we are truly grateful for your kindness. 👏

A big thank you as well to our referee, who did a fantastic job keeping the game fair and fun – we really appreciate your time and support!

A big thank you to all the players, our amazing supporters, and to Long Eaton United for kindly letting us use the stadium – we’re so grateful for your support⚽️☀️

We’re proud to say we raised an incredible £900 on the day for Molly Olly’s, an amazing charity that does so much for children with life-threatening illnesses. Including all other donations from our Sunrise Snowdon Challenge, we’ve now raised a total of £2,088, smashing our target! We honestly can’t thank everyone enough 💖

And there’s still time to donate to our Snowdon Sunrise Challenge if you haven’t yet – every bit helps!

⚽☀️ Charity Football Match – This Sunday! ☀️⚽

Join us this Sunday, 27th April, for an amazing day of football, sunshine, and fundraising – all in support of Molly Ollys Wishes, a wonderful charity helping children with life-threatening illnesses 💗

📍 Long Eaton United Football Ground
🕑 Kick-off: 2:00 PM
🎟 Entry: £2 (all proceeds go to charity)
🍻 Club House Bar will be open
🌞 The weather’s looking great – sunshine all afternoon!

We’ve got some brilliant raffle prizes too, including:
2 x £60 vouchers for Trent Lock & The Village Hotel
Overnight stay with breakfast for 2 at The Village Hotel.
Plus loads of surprises on the day!

Don’t worry, Forest fans – you won’t miss the FA Cup Semi-Final at 4:30 PM. Come enjoy the charity match first, then head off to catch the big game – even our players will be doing the same!

This is all in support of Molly Ollys, a charity granting 350–400 wishes every year to bring smiles to children and families going through incredibly tough times.
