We love seeing your holiday photos - especially when they land in our inbox whilst you’re off enjoying yourselves!

Our customers are currently staying in a beautiful villa in Split, Croatia, and have decided to hire a car and head out to Krka National Park to explore the waterfalls.

Finally home and settled after a great couple of days at Silverstone for the ATAS (Association of Touring & Adventure Suppliers) conference.

It was a great opportunity to spend time with some of the touring and adventure travel companies I work with, discover what’s new, and refresh my knowledge of the experiences and destinations I can recommend to our customers.

The event was sponsored by the China National Tourist Office (CNTO), which also shared some of the latest developments making travel to China easier, including the removal of the visa requirement and additional flights from UK airports.

As a member of ATAS, I gain valuable insight into new and emerging destinations, the latest travel experiences, and the work tourism boards and suppliers are doing to make visiting their destinations even better.

For me, it’s another way of making sure that when you come to EBO looking for inspiration, I’m not just relying on what you can find online. I’m continually learning, meeting the people behind the destinations, and discovering new experiences that might be just right for you.

Let us inspire you... 🌍

This week, it’s my turn to answer a few questions about my own travels, favourite destinations and where I’d love to go next. Hopefully, it’ll give you a little inspiration if you’re struggling to decide where your next adventure should take you.

🌍 Of all the places you’ve travelled to, which has been your favourite so far, and what made it so special?

This is a really difficult question to answer, as I have been lucky enough to have visited some beautiful countries, but I think that Mauritius has to be my top destination. It is a tropical island that 'has it all'. Beautiful beaches, wonderful people from lots of different cultures, families getting together for food and catch ups on the beach on a Sunday, mountains, waterfalls, adventure, every type of accommodation you could imagine, great food from all over the world, the list is endless!

🌍 Has there been a destination you never expected to want to visit, but has somehow found its way onto your travel list?

Cambodia. I love the idea of travelling around a predominantly Buddhist country. That is full of nature, culture, great food, and some amazing beaches.

🌍 What’s next on your travel bucket list, and why?

Fiji has, and always will be at the top of my bucket-list until I make it there! Fiji has always been ranked as one of the happiest places on earth, and I love the idea of visiting a place where the people have so much respect for the land that they live on, and hold their traditions and values. Also, beautiful beaches (there is a theme here, isn't there?!)
