Little sneak preview of one of the updated announcements and changes to the screens coming soon to ! 🔊

Lots of little tweaks that most people probably won't notice, but they'll help tidy things up and bring the announcements more in line with our other fleets on and to ensure consistency.

Planned to start rolling out over the next couple of months, subject to successful testing next week! 🤞

‘Matt The Bus Guy’ perhaps? 🚌😂

A really interesting tour of Stagecoach East's bus depot in Cambridge yesterday! 🙂 It felt very strange being in a workshop with no rails in the floor I must admit! 😂 Even got to sit behind the wheel!

Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve wanted to get my PCV licence, but as I don’t work in the bus industry, it’s always been difficult to justify the cost of the training.

Yesterday though, really got me thinking… why not just go for it?

If the past few months have taught me anything, it’s that tomorrow is never guaranteed. Sometimes you just have to stop putting things off and give yourself the chance to do something you’ve always wanted to do.

So, should I just bite the bullet and go for it? 👀

Today I spent the day at The Valley Railway Adventure in Evesham, learning how to fire a coal-fired steam locomotive in preparation for ‘Dougal’ arriving at Ruislip Lido Railway.

Our steam locomotive 'Mad Bess' at Ruislip is oil-fired, so shovelling coal onto a fire was a completely new experience for me! I absolutely loved every minute of it.

A huge thank you to everyone at Evesham for such an enjoyable, fascinating and educational day on the footplate! 😊🚂🚃🚃🚃
