One of the BEST things we did in London?
Afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason ☕✨

And honestly… I did not expect it to become one of the highlights of the entire trip.

There’s just something about it:
🫖 the atmosphere
🍰 the pastries
🥂 the champagne
✨ the whole experience feeling elegant without feeling stuffy

It felt SO quintessentially London in the best way.

This is also why I always tell people that some of the most memorable travel moments aren’t necessarily the “big tourist attractions.”

Sometimes it’s the long lunch.
The hidden cocktail bar.
The afternoon tea you still think about years later 😌

I genuinely cannot wait to go back.

What’s one travel experience you still think about years later? 👀

At one point during this trip my friends started making fun of me because I kept saying:

“Remember… it’s YOUR vacation too.” 😂

BUT I MEANT IT.

One of the biggest reasons group trips go sideways is because people think everyone has to do the exact same thing 24/7.

Meanwhile:
☀️ one person wants pool time
🚤 one wants excursions
🍹 one wants drinks and music
😴 one wants a nap by 2pm (🙋‍♀️)

And honestly??
That balance is what makes group trips GOOD.

The secret is:
✔️ pick a few group things each day
✔️ let people split off guilt-free
✔️ regroup later for dinner/drinks

Everyone travels differently and that’s okay 😌

Now tell me:
on group trips are you the
🏖️ relax friend
OR
📍 itinerary friend?

Some resorts are beautiful.

And then there are resorts people become emotionally attached to 😅

That’s exactly how people talk about Four Seasons Resort Hualalai.

It’s one of those places where people don’t just say:
“the resort was nice.”

They say:
“We can’t stop thinking about it.”

And honestly, that usually comes down to:
✔️ service
✔️ atmosphere
✔️ flow of the property
✔️ feeling relaxed immediately
✔️ not feeling overcrowded

Luxury travelers are paying for a FEELING just as much as a room.

And Hualalai does that incredibly well.

Okay now I’m curious—
what’s a hotel or resort you’d go back to in a heartbeat? 👀

While I was here, I met one couple on their 25th trip back…
and another guest on their 17th.

And honestly?
After staying here, I get it.

This resort somehow has something for every type of traveler without feeling overwhelming.

☀️ Beach person?
Beautiful sandy beach, plenty of loungers, cabanas, and that “sit here for 6 hours with a drink” kind of vibe.

🎉 Pool person?
The main pool is FUN. Loud music, activities, games, energy all day.

😌 Want quieter?
The lazy river area is a completely different vibe and honestly became one of my favorite spots.

🍴 Foodie?
The Chef’s Table is absolutely worth it.

🍕 Want variety?
The buffet was actually excellent (which says a lot because resort buffets can be questionable 😂) plus multiple specialty restaurants.

🏋️ Want activities?
Water yoga, water aerobics, water bikes, bike tours around the property, fitness classes… there’s constantly something happening.

🏈 Want to catch the game?
There’s a sports bar for that too.

The best way I can describe this place is:
you can make it as relaxing, social, active, quiet, or fun as you want.

And THAT is probably why people keep coming back year after year after year.

So now I’m curious—
when you vacation, are you more:
🏖️ beach
🍹 pool
🍴 foodie
🎉 activities
or 😌 relaxation-only mode? 👀

Today’s office: swimming in cenotes + snorkeling with sea turtles 🐢✨

Today was one of those vacation days where you get back to the resort and immediately say,
“Okay yeah… that was worth it.”

We spent the day snorkeling with sea turtles (which was SO cool in itself 🐢) but one of my favorite parts of the whole excursion was actually swimming in a cenote.

And of course… the one thing I don’t have photos of ends up being one of the coolest parts of the day 😅

There’s just something surreal about swimming in crystal clear water inside a cenote. It’s quiet, peaceful, and one of those experiences that’s hard to fully explain unless you’ve done it yourself.

This is exactly why I always recommend doing at least one excursion while in Mexico. The resorts are incredible… but getting to experience things outside the resort is what makes a trip feel unforgettable.

Now I need to know—
would you rather:
🏖️ stay poolside all day
or
🐢 spend the day exploring?

What’s a better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Tacos at home…
or tacos in Mexico?

I’ll let you decide 😌

(But I feel like we all know the answer)

Where would you rather be right now? 👀

First impressions of Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya…

– Large, but not overwhelming
– Service has been excellent
– And the room… we’re in the Emerald Suite 😍

So far, I get why this one gets requested so often.

More to come 👀

Off to check out one of the most requested all-inclusives…

I’m heading to Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya this week ✈️

This is a resort that comes up often in conversations—especially for couples looking for a great adults-only option without going ultra high-end.

I’ll be taking a closer look at the overall experience, layout, and what it’s really like to stay there.

If you’ve ever considered this resort, let me know what you’d want to know!

Trips I’m already planning years in advance...

Some trips require more than just picking dates and booking a hotel.

Destinations like Japan, African safaris, and Antarctica expeditions are often planned well in advance to secure the best experiences, guides, and availability.

Planning early isn’t about overthinking—it’s about doing it right.

01/05/2026

Two people can go to the exact same destination and have completely different experiences.

In many cases, the biggest difference comes down to the resort itself—layout, service, dining, and overall flow of the property.

That’s why choosing the right fit matters just as much (if not more) than choosing the destination.
