As you wander along the meandering path of the Siq, a sense of excitement starts to build up. The towering walls, rising hundreds of feet above, gradually converge, leading us towards the city's most prized possession.

Suddenly, the gorge opens up, revealing the Treasury, Al-Khazneh, standing gloriously before us. Carved directly out of the pink and orange rock face over 2,000 years ago, this intricate facade was initially constructed to serve as a final resting place and tomb.

The first rays of dawn gently stroke the pinnacle of the Treasury, gradually descending down its pillars and ornate carvings, accentuating the intricate workmanship. The interplay of light and shadow instills vitality into the stone, highlighting the architectural brilliance of the Nabataeans who erected this marvel. I promise you a breathtaking road trip from the bustling streets of Amman to the ancient wonders of Petra. It is a journey that traverses landscapes and centuries of history.
As you leave the city behind, the urban landscape gradually gives way to the stark, mesmerising beauty of the Jordanian countryside.

The road to Petra is a spectacle, winding through majestic mountains and expansive valleys that tell tales of the past under the vast, open skies.
Watch as the terrain shifts from the olive groves and small towns, dotting the hillsides to the rugged awe-inspiring landscapes that have beckoned travellers through the ages.

As we ascend into the heart of Jordan’s mountainous regions, the road carves through the rock, a ribbon of tarmac enveloped on either side by towering cliffs and rocky outcrops.
