On this day, 03/06/2012, The Havengore was proudly part of the Royal convoy for Queen Elizabeth II's Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant . Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, and Sir David Hugh Wootton, Lord Mayor, were on board.

Today, at the Havengore, we are remembering this day, May 10th, 1940, when N**i Germany invaded the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France.

In the UK, in response to this developing crisis, Neville Chamberlain resigned as Prime Minister, and later in the day, Winston Churchill was appointed.

"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat."

Havengore is honored to have been the last vessel to carry Sir Winston Churchill by water at the culmination of his State Funeral on January 30th, 1965.

One more day to go. Lots of final prep being done on board today. Hoping to see crowds along the Thames tomorrow so do share!

This year Her Majesty the Queen celebrates her 90th Birthday. To mark this happy occasion Havengore will take part in a River Pageant on Saturday June 11th 2016, on the River Thames.

Thanks to Londonist for sharing information about Saturday's pageant. There are now around 40 vessels taking part - come rain or shine!

On Saturday 11 June we are taking part in a River Pageant on the Thames to celebrate the Queen's official 90th birthday.

We will be in great company. Also participating are: The Queen's Row Barge 'Gloriana'; many of the Dunkirk Little Ships; the fabulous Massey Shaw fireboat and many more besides.

We will form up at the Houses of Parliament at around midday, setting off at 12:15 for Tower Bridge. We will have an orchestra on board, accompanying rising star soprana Nazan Fikret. Join in with the singing, give us all a wave and celebrate with us!

Hello everyone. We're sorry to have been so quiet but as these photos show, we have been very busy with our annual maintenance programme.

The good folk at Fox's Marina are doing a brilliant job and we will be back on the river - looking beautiful - in no time.

Don't know what you think but we're always amazed by how big she looks out of the water?!

Havengore is currently residing at Fox's Marina in Ipswich, undergoing annual maintenance work
