Friends, family and good intimate times. This is the start of of our wine and cheese tasting experience on Ritherdon Road in Balham.

When preparing for a tasting, Simon (Mr. Whirly) starts with his wine choices and works back from that to select his cheese to compliment each wine. The cheese selection from was sensational, by the way.
We honestly can’t recommend this wine tasting experience enough; affable Mr. Whirly imparts his (vast) knowledge of wine with wonderful and effortless articulation of his (Mastermind-worthy) specialist subject. His passion for wine is infectious and it sparks points of interest to those who already know a lot about wine and those who know nothing... Whirly’s shop is like a home from home with ambient lighting, candles and the reassuring crackle of vinyl records accompanied our evening - is there a better sound than vinyl records? His shelves are lined with bottles of wine, each individually labelled making you feel each one has been lovingly selected, only because it has.
When you’re next thinking of purchasing a bottle, rather than head to the local supermarket, consider going to your local Sommelier, Whirly instead - he’ll make you enjoy that bottle all the more as he’ll give you a better understanding of how it’s produced and what you might expect from it.

Ok this is probably not the best use of time but it is pretty good fun turning a bog standard photo of some (amazing) removal vans on a street in Clapham into an electrifying scene. Can you tell which photo is the real one? The prize is that you go up in our estimations - that says a lot. We will also give you a free quote for your home removal (we do that anyway)

Pathetic fallacy is a literary device in which human emotions are attributed to aspects of nature, such as the weather. For instance, the weather can be used to reflect a person’s mood, with dark clouds or rain present in a scene involving sorrow.

Sometimes this sorrowful mood can be attributed to the fact you were out too late at the weekend and the weather is coincidentally reflecting your mood. Tuesdays can be a tough gig but it’ll pass, just like the clouds.
