What a whirlwind of a day in Mykonos š¬š·
I actually flew out a day earlier than planned for this educational trip because after months of organising a luxury villa stay for 12 ladies celebrating a bachelorette weekend, I needed to see every detail with my own eyes.
When youāre creating luxury experiences, sometimes thereās no substitute for being there in person. From walking through every room to checking all the personalised touches, it was so special seeing months of planning finally come together: private chefs, boat days, beautiful tablescapes and unforgettable surprises for my clients.
Before Iād even left the hotel, I got a call from my husband saying heād been in a car accident with my son in the car. Thankfully they were both okay, but it was a reminder of how quickly emotions can shift. Once I knew everyone was safe, it was straight back into travel designer mode āØ
Armed with a luxury hamper Iād brought from the UK filled with personalised touches, I spent the rest of the day meeting with incredible industry partners and fellow travel designers. Starting with our villa manager and Dimitris, whoāll be overseeing every detail of the stay and the lovely Scott & Lyndsey from Seamless Marketing, who represent the Mykonos Grand. Before heading into Mykonos Town for sunset cocktails, cobbled streets and the most amazing Greek dinnerš“
I finally made it back just before midnight⦠and of course, ended the day answering emails š§
Behind every seamless luxury trip is months of planning, long days and countless moving parts, but moments like these make it all worth it š¤
