🪑 Two hundred chairs need to be in a hall by 9am, and the hall doesn't open until 8:30.

That's a normal morning for our porterage team. Event setups, office furniture moved between floors, deliveries timed around a single goods lift slot. This is skilled work, and it goes well when the people doing it are trained, uniformed and fully insured.

We work for offices, residential buildings and events across London, and that includes weekends. If you need to be up and running on Monday morning, we can do the job on Saturday or Sunday, so everything is in place when your team walks in. 🚛

🏢 40 MONITORS. 30 OFFICE CHAIRS. ONE BUSINESS RELOCATION. 🚚

Another successful commercial project completed by our Octagon Removals Watford Team! 💪

This time, we were trusted with relocating Pentagon Technical Services Ltd to their new office, less than five miles away.

A short journey, but plenty to organise!

The move included:

🖥️ Around 40 monitors – carefully protected and secured for transportation.

🪑 30 office chairs – moved alongside the rest of the office furniture.

🛋️ A large conference table – requiring careful handling and manoeuvring.

📋 Office equipment and a whiteboard – packed and transported to the new workspace.

📦 The office kitchen – packed up and prepared for the move.

With six moving specialists and a 2x3.5-tonne Luton van, our team worked through the relocation over the weekend, helping Pentagon Technical Services get their new office ready for Monday morning.

For businesses, timing matters. Moving over the weekend means staff can return to work in their new space without losing valuable working hours to the relocation.

🏍️ 5 MOTORBIKES. 6 MOUNTAIN BIKES. 20 LARGE PLANTS. AND AN ENTIRE HOUSE TO MOVE! 🚚

Our Octagon Removals Bromley Team recently completed a particularly interesting house move for our customer, and this one had a bit of everything.

Alongside the usual household furniture and belongings, we had some seriously valuable and heavy items to transport:

🏍️ 5 motorbikes – requiring careful loading, positioning and securing for transport.

🚴 6 mountain bikes – protected and organised to travel safely alongside the rest of the belongings.

🔊 2 massive JBL speakers – heavy, valuable audio equipment that needed extra attention.

🌳 20 large outdoor plant pots and trees – bulky, awkward to lift and challenging to fit into the loading plan.

🪟 Multiple glass tables – fragile furniture requiring careful protection and handling.

🏠 Plus an entire household full of furniture, boxes and personal belongings!

Our team planned the loading, protected the more delicate items and worked through the different challenges to get the job completed.

👕 Ever opened a box of clothes after a move and found everything crushed into one creased heap?

That's what happens when a wardrobe gets squashed into bags and cartons. On this Croydon job, the clothes went a different way. Every item came straight off the hanger and into a tall wardrobe box with its own rail, then rode upright in the van.

At the new home, they went back into the wardrobe still on their hangers. Ready to wear, with no ironing pile waiting. 🚛
