The Reina Sofía Museum has just reordered and expanded its Collection with the aim of offering narratives and experiences that, without claiming to be exhaustive or categorical, speak to us about the present moment through a critical study of the common past.
On this visit we will discover Art in Spain and the arrival of Modernity and new ideas in the first half of the 20th century.
We will see the development of Architecture, the appearance of magazines, posters, publications, the generation of '27 and how avant-garde movements such as Cubism or Surrealism emerged through the works of great artists such as Picasso, Dalí, Juan Gris or Miró, and of some female references such as Maria Blanchard, Maruja Mallo, Angeles Santos or Rosario de Velasco
We will also analyze one of the most impressive and relevant works of all time: Picasso's GUERNICA.
