Sadly, this is our final week of meal deliveries to the elderly, vulnerable and homeless in West London.😔
Unfortunately, we have had to make the heartbreaking decision to close down our Peardrops services from 10th July. 💔
We are very proud to have provided over 14,000 meals to elderly, vulnerable and homeless people during these unprecedented times and feel truly blessed to have had so many of you who have tirelessly provided your time and support to help us deliver these meals. Our volunteers have spent approx. 5,500 hours to pull off this amazing effort! We are truly incredibly grateful for all your hard work and cannot thank you enough. None of this would have been possible without your support. Thank you for being here for us. 🙏🏻❤️🌈
Whilst we have been fortunate to raise money and found some great partners who have supported us with fresh ingredients, unfortunately, funds have now depleted and donations are drying up. Sadly volunteer numbers have also decreased significantly, with people returning back to work or holidays.
As a result, we have to cease our services - for now.
Our main priority now is finding alternative meal providers for all our customers. Our service has been truly life-changing and vital for so many of them.✨If you are able to deliver meals to our vulnerable clients, please do get in touch with us.✨
