Expedition cruising can take us to some extraordinary places. Today is a good moment to think about the people who welcome us there and the environments we travel to experience.

Responsible exploration starts with listening, learning and building strong relationships with local communities. Travel advisors have an important part to play, too: by asking thoughtful questions and sharing what they know, they can help travellers choose journeys that feel right for them and respect the places they visit.
