Following the incredibly sad news of the death of HRH Queen Elizabeth II yesterday evening, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family at this time.

Throughout her life, Queen Elizabeth was an avid animal lover, a committed pet owner, a supporter of the veterinary profession and a Patron of The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Her love for animals is something that we all share.

On behalf of our volunteers, staff, supporters and service users, we would like to thank you for your 70 years of dedication and service to our country.

An amazing opportunity has come up for a full-time position within our family run company.

This is a warehouse job with a difference, we are not your normal “pull and pick orders” warehouse, every day will vary as a member of our asset team, with great potential to grow and adapt your career, learn new skills and be part of a friendly and hardworking team.

Quite a bit of the role is computer/iPad based so you would need to be confident on a computer/tablet. Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial, however, not essential. A driving license would also be beneficial but not essential.

We are mainly based in Dagenham, however, you may be required to travel to our other depots on occasion.
If you would like some more information or to apply, please feel free to message us, or apply via LinkedIn.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all.

All in a day’s work! Read how much the CAMA team can redistribute in one day - and the subsequent reductions in carbon emissions through their reuse service.

The costume department can significantly reduce their carbon footprint through second-hand use, hiring and re-purposing, rather than making or buying items from scratch every time.

As part of London Climate Action Week, the team at CAMA continues to support the growth of sustainability and build partnerships across London to enhance the movement to Net Zero.

Consequently, we support costumiers across London, and most recently visited Cosprop. And then later in the day, we supported our next generation of costume designers and moved onto the London Screen Academy.

Recently CAMA's green team spent the day giving excellent quality unwanted garments (Costume) to Cosprop and the London Screen Academy.

Welcome to the new addition of the sustainability team at CAMA Assetstore.

We have now acquired our first electric van as part of our continued journey towards building a sustainable fleet.

Our article details our first zero emission deliveries, as well as our roadmap to net zero.

From Scraps to Sets. Our expert sustainability team continues to find alternative sustainable routes for disposing of items.
The life-cycle of the timber goes on as it became sets at the London Screen Academy and reused by New Life Wood.

Donation of timber and wood via our sustainability services. Donated to the London Screen Academy to be used to build sets.

Well aren’t these crates just great!

It is always amazing to see how the items CAMA Assetstore donates are put to reuse.
These Crates came into storage as part of a production storage order and were subsequently marked as recycle. However, our expert sustainability team noticed items that did not pose any IP issues and could be reused, these crates included. We are always focused on the life cycle of items and how and where they can be repurposed.

To many, it is just twelve large yellow fish crates, but to CCORRN, a lifesaver. They had been struggling to find ways to store items for their Bits and Bobs Scrapstore in a way that is disability friendly.
“These crates have been superb as we now have a rigid protected route for people with mobility issues to safely navigate their way around the scrapstore.” – Nikki DiGiovanni Development Director for CCORRN (Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network Limited)

We have been fortunate enough to have donated many items to CCORRN over the past few months, which has included many items we managed to save from recycling. We look forward to seeing the partnership between us grow!

CCORRN are an incredible charity, helping those in need in a vast variety of ways. Nikki and the team are dedicated to supporting community reuse and recycling. They are continuing to make moves towards sustainability as well as improving the lives of those in need.
CAMA Assetstore is always on the lookout for more organisations to work with in order to further our client's move towards a circular economy. Reusing, repurposing, and rehoming items is vital within CAMA, and knowing the items are going to charitable organisations such as CCORRN is outstanding. Putting our local community at the heart of what our sustainability team do.

Our team at CAMA arranged for various furniture items such as cabinets, tables, beds etc, to be delivered directly to the store for YMCA free of charge. Not only did our driver and porter tidily put items in the storeroom, but they also helped the manager to put half the stock on the shop floor!

‘We recently received a fantastic donation of a wide range of furniture items from CAMA to sell in our YMCA Witham store. The delivery team were extremely efficient, helpful, and polite and our store team couldn’t be happier.
We have started to see fabulous sales and it has generated much interest with our customers and offers the local community great quality and value products and avoids anything going to landfill. A win win in our books!’

A quote from Darren the store manager at YMCA Witham!

This has now also been repeated at two more of the YMCA stores – Swanley and Orpington!

The money raised through the sales of these donated items is used on the YMCA services for young people, helping them to belong, contribute and thrive!

Thank you, YMCA, for being a pleasure to work with! Looking forward to continuing to work with you!

And a special thank you to David Roberts and Tom Hall from CAMA Workspace!
