Randomly, I asked Google the significance of the phrase

"Wake me up when september ends!"

And this is what I got. Read on.

The phrase "wake me up when September ends" is a tragic and deeply personal reference to the childhood grief of Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, who used the phrase to cope with the death of his father.

When during the hot season, must take note of the following :

1. Wear linen clothes or any summer clothing to ease a bit the high temperatures.
2. Stay hydrated.
3. Heavy luggages is a struggle if your hotel is in the city center. TAXIS can't access narrow streets.
Narrow streets were intended to block hot sun rays.
4. Go out with fully charged phones, carry your chargers/power banks so you can always use google maps. The alleyways are confusing and navigating the narrow streets can be a challenge.
5. Prebook entrance tickets to attractions if you can. Queues could be too long under the heat of the sun.
6. Go out early, or late, beacuase temperature is more pleasant at 9 to 10am and in the evening around 10pm. Take note as well thaylt Most restaurants close at 11pm.
10. Always plan your itinnerary ahead to maximise your visit specially if it's only a short one.
