At Hyperlink, we set out to build a fully operational Hyperloop pod from scratch. The team unites ambitious and hardworking students studying different courses and gives them a platform to work, learn, and develop new skills together. ike the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition. What's exciting about Hyperlink is the fact that the concept of Hyperloop is relatively new and isn't yet fully implemented anywhere in the world. Thus, research & development, brainstorming, and testing new ideas are crucial parts of our work. Hyperlink is split into two divisions: Engineering and Business. The Engineering division is focused on designing and building the pod itself. The division is split up into teams, each concerned with a specific subsystem of the pod. All teams work closely together, exchanging ideas and ensuring that all systems remain compatible and complement each other. The Business division is focused on acquiring sponsorships, securing partnerships with external organisations as well as media creation and marketing. Business is a vital part of Hyperlink as sufficient funding and partnerships with industry are crucial to building a high performing pod.

🚀 Exciting News: RS Grassroots Continues Supporting Our Hyperloop Journey! 🚀

We are thrilled to announce that our Hyperloop society at Queen Mary University London has received funding from RS Grassroots! This support is a huge step forward in our mission to design, build, and compete with our cutting-edge Hyperloop pod on an international stage.

Hyperloop technology represents the future of high-speed, sustainable transportation, with the potential to revolutionize travel efficiency and carbon emissions. Our team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of engineering innovation, and thanks to RS Grassroots, we’re now one step closer to making our vision a reality.

What an incredible week at European Hyperloop Week 2024!
From July 15th to 21st, we had the privilege of participating in the largest hyperloop competition at
ETH ZĂĽrich, Switzerland. Competing alongside over 25 student teams from around the globe, our
Hyperlink team represented Queen Mary with immense pride.
The week was packed/rich with insightful workshops, talks, team presentations, testing,
demonstrations, and a public showcase, keeping us fully engaged and inspired. The team
especially enjoyed participating in Professor Deborah Nas’ workshop about “Hyperloop: Revolution
or Evolution?”. A major highlight for us was showcasing our prototype and presenting our
groundbreaking biomedical research on “Investigating the Impact of Overground and Underground
Hyperloop Travel on the Spine.” Kameron Young’s presentation received great applause and
positive feedback—a truly proud moment for the team! 🙌
Beyond the competition, we connected with like-minded hyperloop enthusiasts, exchanged ideas
and opportunities, and had the unforgettable opportunity to visit CERN in Geneva!
Congratulations to all the teams who participated, especially the winners. We’re excited to keep
driving innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence forward. A huge thank you to
