The true residents of Koh Phi Phi don’t live in the resorts. They’re here, etched against the limestone cliffs, watching the tide come in. This beach offers more than just sand and surf, it offers a glimpse into a unique, conditioned ecology. Having been fed by visitors for years, the native long tailed Macaques now frequent the water’s edge, descending from nearby cliffs to greet every incoming boat.
We found the best way to visit is with a private longtail boat at sunrise, just you, the white sand, and the beach’s furry inhabitants.
