We were pleased to sponsor the Helen Gough bowls tournament yesterday. This was held at Llandrindod’s amazing outdoor bowls facility. The heat was unbelievable but it was so nice to see 22 teams compete for this cup. It’s 45 years since we lost Helen at only 17 years of age and she was already a big part of the bowling club, following behind her Mum and Dad, Shirley and Stuart Gough. The winning pair had travelled across from Tregaron and it was lovely to see visiting teams compete as well as many locals. Congratulations to you all.

We had visitors here today to discuss the issues that our industry in currently facing. Our MP David Chadwick and our MS Jane Dodds. High fuel, and no help from Government. Lack of infrastructure spending in Wales, M4 relief road. Driver facilities, or rather the lack of them. 80% of everything we wear, sit on, or eat and drink, goes on the back of a lorry. We are the industry that keeps UK Ltd trading and we need help and respect.
