Today, we are writing to Count Binface to ask about his rumoured plans to build a spaceport in Clacton, should he win the forthcoming by-election. Llandegley, of course, has plenty of experience in this field and we hope to be able to co-operate in the construction of the spaceport wherever it may be.

📣 AN ANNOUNCEMENT WE'VE WAITED A LONG TIME TO SHARE

We are delighted to finally announce a 'world first' brand new bus link between Pen-y-bont railway station in Powys and the nearby Llandegley International Airport.

After years of campaigning from us, the Community Rail Partnership (CRP), a link that never seemed possible is finally happening, with the first service launching on April 1st.

📆 The Timetable

🔸 The service will operate regularly every day of the week (except Monday, Thursday & Friday).
🔹 The service will depart at 12 noon sharp or maybe half past (except for Tuesday & Wednesday, when there will be no service).

🚌 The Route

🔹 The service will stop at local points of interest such as The Thomas Shop, The Pales Quaker Meeting House, plus a scenic detour to view the sleeping dragon reputed to dwell underneath Llandegley Rocks.
🔸 There is also a short lunch break (for the driver only) at the A44 Yellow Snack Van.
🔹 Unfortunately, these stops mean that it is actually quicker to walk.

If the bus link is successful, then there is a possibility of a new MagLev service being built to shorten the travel time significantly. MagLev is short for "Magic Lever" and means that if the driver pulls the "MagLev", the bus is able to float a few inches above the track, meaning there is less spillage of drinks and crisps, plus it goes a bit faster.

💬 Owen Griffkin, Community Rail Officer for the Heart of Wales Line CRP, said: "We hope that this service proves there is a need for a link between the Heart of Wales Line and the busiest pretend airport in the UK."
