Export packing is a art that we pride ourselves on. This is a heavy duty lathe sent from Liverpool to America. the actual foot print of the machine was very small when compared to the overall size. This means there is a lot of space between the base and the actual machine, which can result in lifting issues if not packed correctly.

This 15 tonne pump was packed to be lifted from the bottom with it's own lifting lugs. this meant that the base of the case doesn't have to actually lift the case so we can reduce that amount of timber (saving costs in packing), which will reduce the height, (saving money on shipping). At PK Marine we are thinking about the full picture of logistics, understanding the full process allows us to offer the best solution.
