This SsangYong Musso Saracen came into our bodyshop with a nasty impact to the front left corner, leaving the bonnet badly pushed in.

Our bodyshop team worked through the repairs and brought the Musso back to a finish that looks as good as new.

Myth: You need to change your oil every 3,000 miles.

For most modern cars, changing the oil more frequently than the manufacturer’s recommended service interval isn’t necessary, provided the correct oil is used and the vehicle is maintained properly.

There are exceptions for vehicles used particularly heavily, such as taxis or cars covering very high annual mileage, where more frequent oil changes may be appropriate.

Something not as it should be with your Mercedes-Benz?

This Mercedes-Benz came to Dack Motor Group with an intermittent gearbox fault, with the driver noticing jerky shifting after longer journeys.

Using Mercedes-Benz XENTRY diagnostic equipment, the same diagnostic system used within Mercedes-Benz main-dealer workshops, we identified a fault with the mechatronic unit. We’re now working with a warranty company to help progress the repair and get the vehicle back on the road.

That’s one noisy engine.

This Kia came into the workshop with a loud engine, which led our technicians to investigate the timing chain and found it had stretched and the tensioner had failed.

The repair also involved addressing issues with the fuel injectors, getting to the root of the problems rather than simply treating the symptoms.
