As the new school term begins this week, thereโ€™s one message we want every young person travelling on our buses to remember โ€” be kind to each other.

For many pupils, the school day starts and finishes on the bus. We want that journey to be somewhere everyone feels safe, comfortable and included.

A joke at someone elseโ€™s expense might seem like nothing to you, but you never really know what another person is going through. Words can stick with someone long after the journey is over.

If you see someone sitting on their own, include them. If someone is being picked on, donโ€™t join in. If you think someone is struggling, tell an adult you trust.

It takes nothing to put someone down. It takes character to lift someone up.

When these lights are flashing, it means a child or young person may be getting on or off the bus.

Our buses will be out across the area every morning and afternoon, so please give them โ€” and our young passengers โ€” a little extra space.

Home to School Transport starts again on ๐“๐”๐„๐’๐ƒ๐€๐˜ ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ, and weโ€™re looking forward to welcoming pupils back on board for another school year.

For 2026/27 weโ€™ll be providing EA transport for:

If your child is travelling with us, please take a few minutes before Tuesday to familiarise yourself with your childโ€™s route, pickup points and their pickup timeโ€ฆ. Buses will wait 2mins at each stop then move to the next on the route.
