What a day in Saint Lucia! 🇱🇨
I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get tired of days like today!
We’ve been out exploring some of Saint Lucia’s most beautiful hotels, and honestly, what an experience.
Five very different hotels, all incredible in their own way, and a boat trip along the stunning coastline between resorts. Not a bad day at the office!
We started with Zoëtry Marigot Bay, a gorgeous, peaceful hotel overlooking the marina. Then onto Rabot Hotel by Hotel Chocolat, tucked away amongst the rainforest and cacao trees. Such a unique place!
Next was Ladera, and WOW, those views of the Pitons! I think I could have quite happily sat there all afternoon just taking it all in.
Then we visited Anse Chastanet, with its beautiful natural surroundings and beaches, before finishing at the absolutely spectacular Jade Mountain. I’ve seen photographs of this hotel so many times, but seeing it in person is something else entirely.
What I found really interesting today is just how different these hotels are. They’re all luxury properties, but they offer completely different experiences.
And that’s what I love about doing these visits. You can look at hundreds of photographs, read reviews and study hotel descriptions, but nothing quite compares to actually being there. Walking around, seeing the rooms, chatting to the staff and getting a proper feel for a place.
It’s also reminded me that luxury means different things to different people. For some it’s a private infinity pool overlooking the Pitons, for others it’s being surrounded by nature, enjoying amazing food or having a beautiful beach on your doorstep.
It’s been hot, busy and we’ve certainly packed a lot in, but I’ve loved every minute.
I sometimes have to pinch myself that this is actually my job.
