Seaway Alpha Lift now berthed in Leith Dock.
Preparing to Lift / Move these Yellow Jackets to the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. It may take a couple of trips to move the 18 Jackets from Leith to the Wind Farm.

If you travelling on the train along the Fife Coast and you look over toward Leith, you will clearly see the Yellow Jackets on the opposite site of the Forth. Looking to the right of the Jackets you will clearly see the Seaway Alpha Lift vessel. It’s a very large ship.

Second image shows workers making final adjustments/arrangements for the transportation of the Jackets from Leith.

Wind Turbine Jackets - Stored at Leith Docks:
Travelling by train up the Fife Coast you might have seen bright yellow structures on the other side of the Forth, over towards Leith Docks. Well I decided to go investigate and found that there are 18 Wind Turbine Jackets waiting to be moved and installed at a new Wind Farm at sea.

The main thing is that they are impressive structures and will be moving to site possibly in the next week. More details about the site etc., to follow.

They are certainly impressive structures and dominate the skyline around Leith.

Ornate Panels being Installed (2/2).
On the River Park path on the approach to the Sawmill Bridge.
When I tried to capture the design on these panels, I discovered that the background made it almost impossible to see the intricate design.

I returned and took images of six panels and then removed the background from each panel. The affect was amazing.
Here are the next set of three panels to enjoy.
Enjoy.

Pathway Fencing being Installed.
Immediately crossing the Sawmill Bridge, the new fencing can clearly be seen. I think both sides of the path at this point will have these ornate metal plates installed. They look really, really good. Very artistic.
