Herefordshire Aero Club Shobdon Airfield – located in the magnificent Marches on the England Wales borders Based at Shobdon Airfield, near Leominster.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside and are close to the Welsh hills. We are the only licenced airfield in Herefordshire. We enjoy a vibrant, friendly club, with great food, great flying and maintenance facilities as well as the benefit of being unimpeded by controlled airspace restrictions. Whether you are Public, experienced pilot or would like to learn to fly, we cater for all needs. At

Shobdon we have training and hiring facilities on all types Gliders, Microlights, Aircraft & Helicopters at the Airfield.

It’s a super, sunny 😎 scorchio Saturday…. If you’re coming to the Teddy Bear’s picnic on 27th May at Shobdon Airfield please bring hats, sun cream and a spare bear for the Teddy Trust. We have games, ice cream, cakes, floss, inflatable, Freddy the cheeky pony, face painting and more. Entry is free however we make a small charge for parking
