Sunday 14th June - Moel y Gamelin & Moel y Faen Circular Via Horseshoe Pass
If there’s one place you are guaranteed stunning views it’s Wales! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

So if that’s your thing join us on this 4 Mile walk through some of the most stunning scenery of the Clwydian Range.

We will be hitting the 2 Summits of Moel y Gamelin (900ft) Elevation gain and Moel y Faen (521ft) Elevation gain.

With an added bonus of a drive through the famous Horseshoe Pass which offers spectacular views from its winding roads! Voted one of the UK’s most stunning drives!

We will then have a quick stop in Llangollen for refreshments before heading home 🏡

What to expect:

Stunning views. Steep but manageable climbs with well maintained paths. Windy up top. Mountain View’s. Cafe Stop. Very Scenic drive!

*Due to the driving distance I will be restricted with pick up points.

Rolos is Loughborough based so I’m happy to pick up in the immediate surrounding villages or en route.

Sundays highlights ✨🚌
A lovely day out in the very picturesque and quirky town of Conwy followed by Fish and chips and a beach stroll at Colwyn Bay 🏖️

Believe it or not, not a single drop of the wet stuff 💧fell until we boarding the bus home but with a belly full of Fish & Chips and some new memories stacked we really didn’t give a sausage!
We made the most of our time in Conwy starting off with a mooch along the Castle walls to reach the huge Castle that overlooks the cute Harbour with all its colourful boats bobbing about. ⛵️

We then headed over to Plas Mawr which is known as the finest Elizabethan town house in Britain 🏠
Then off to the smallest house in Britain, a bright red nugget that sits along the Harbour ⛵️
And of course we had 🍦& ☕️
Then finally off to the Beach for our fish supper.

Thank you everyone that came along, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did 😁
One definitely to be repeated 😊🚌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

There’s still room for this Sundays adventure!

Sunday 7th June 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏰🌊☀️🏖️
North Wales Castles, Beaches & Quirky bits.
Come and spend the day exploring the stunning North Coast of Wales!

We will drive along the coast lapping up that sea air until we reach the gorgeous town of Conwy!

Home to many quirky attractions such as Great Britain’s smallest house (£1.50 Admission) and the Majestic Conwy Castle. (£13 Admission) Conwy Suspension Bridge and Plas Mawr the most well preserved Elizabethan Townhouse.

You can choose to join me in visiting some of these attractions or spend time exploring the area as you wish.

After we have explored Conwy we will head off to Colwyn Beach with its long sandy beach and promenade where you can indulge in the Best Fish & Chips in Wales, go for a paddle in the sea or have a few cheeky refreshments whilst enjoying the sea views ☀️🕶️🌊

Whatever you decide to do you’ll be guaranteed a day full of fun and adventure 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

🚨 Due to the journey time the pick up & drop off for this trip will be Loughborough, Quorn & Sileby and stops en route.

Seven Sisters…tick ✔️🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻🗻
We did it and oh my giddy god what a treat for the eyeballs it was 👀
I’m not sure you could ever get bored of the views on this hike, absolutely worth the drive!
We extended the hike to 10 miles startSeven Sisters Visitor CentreCentre and finishing at Pier.
We managed a half way Ice cream stop 🍦 (one lick of mine and it plopped on the floor) oh well it was the best 2 seconds of my life!
A quick wander on the beach at Birling Gap and onwards to Beachy Head and beyond!
All finished off with a celebratory drink for the hikers and a slap up meal of fish and chips!

27k steps, a little sunburn and a lot of laughs later we were all a little knackered to say the least 😂😂
