When moving please make sure you make provisions for any pets especially cats. On moving day animals have no idea what's going on so having them in an empty room, At a friend/relatives or at the new house is a great plan. With bonfire night (fireworks week) a cat didn't return home yesterday and with it becoming like the blitz around Earl Shilton last night there wasn't much chance it was coming home anytime soon. Fingers crossed he came back and is at his new house now. Leaving a cat out until the end of the move has ended turns in to worry/panic more times than I can remember.

A word of warning. When you book a van through the AnyVan website you are booking a man and van like myself or a small company. AnyVan pass on the job and take a huge fee (60%+ while the company who do the actual job get way less for doing all the hard work. We did a job recently where we had to move items that were not on the AnyVan inventory so wouldn't be taken on the move the next day... We would have done the remainder of the job for much cheaper but as it was already booked and less than 48 hours before the move they couldn't cancel without losing the £500 deposit. The price they were charged was £720 for at most 4 hours work. The people who actually did the move would have only got around £220 of the £720. Be careful as there are some ridiculous prices about.

My opening hours are 24/7 so if you have an emergency job etc feel free to call any time and I will do my best to help.

If you want a quote for a job that isn't urgent and it's late at night/early hours please send a message, text or WhatsApp and I will reply to you in order of messages received.

This is a designated van service where you get the whole van for the job and my prices reflect that. I may offer a cheaper price on a job if I can tie it in as a return load after another job but thats quite rare.

I can work unsociable hours so getting random queries during the night isn't always helpful.

When the stairs were so tight and the bed couldn't make it in to the customers new home... The last resort was to lift it up over the shop front and pull it in from the window above.
When you view a potential new home always think about how easy it will be to get your furniture in. We will always exhaust every option but occasionally some things just won't go.

Be careful on the roads 👍 and remember if you get your car stuck in the floods the insurance won't usually pay out (I've seen so many cars stranded with water up to their bonnets today now with worthless engines). Even in the van I find an alternative route as it's not worth the risk.

Please remember to send the addresses from and to when asked for them when booking a job. Until I have this information your job isn't booked in so if anybody else tries to book the time and date that we discussed it could well get taken. I would try and chase you up for the addresses so I could book it in but with getting many calls, texts, WhatsApps, emails etc every day it can be difficult to keep track of.
