๐๐ A little update from me...
I've been nominated for Women in Bus and Coachโ Best Woman in Coach and, honestly, whether I win or not, the nomination itself means so much.
Anyone who knows me knows I usually have about 100 things on the go at once between work, my children, my parents, day trips, marketing ideas and everything else life likes to throw into the mix. As a full-time working mum, there's always something that needs doing. Will I ever see the bottom of the ironing pile again?? ๐
I started at Procters cleaning a few hours a week, and if you'd told me then that one day I'd be nominated for an industry award, I'd never have believed you. Over the last couple of years, Procters has become such a huge part of my life. It's given me opportunities, challenges, confidence and friendships, and I'm incredibly grateful for all of it.... It has that effect on people. ๐๐
In all seriousness, I wouldn't have had the confidence to try half the things I have without Andrew backing me, trusting my ideas and giving me the freedom to run with them. For that, I'm incredibly grateful.
I also have to give a special mention to Emma, who has really pushed me this year. She's constantly encouraged me to think bigger, try new things and back myself a little more. Every woman needs another woman in her corner cheering her on... girl power! ๐ช๐
This nomination isn't really about me though. It's about being part of an amazing team. From our drivers and engineers to our cleaners, office staff and management team, everyone works hard behind the scenes to make Procters what it is, and I'm lucky to be part of it. Every success we have is a team effort.
An even bigger thank you goes to our wonderful Day Trippers.
What we've built together is so much more than getting people from A to B.
We've seen friendships formed, people looking out for one another, and familiar faces become friends. That's something really special, and it's one of the things I'm most proud of.
Thank you for travelling with us, supporting us, embracing our ideas and helping create the amazing community we have today. โค๏ธ
And yes... they've spelt Procters wrong on the nomination, but we'll let them off this time! ๐คฃ
