We don't often see our drivers moving to pastures new - but recently Tom let us know of his intention to leave us to pursue a career as an airline pilot!

Today officially marks 21 years of Privilege Executive Cars.

With just one vehicle, Paul Watson started this incredible journey, in 2005.

In 2009, our now Commercial Director Lucy Taylor joined our team, initially providing essential admin support a few days a week.

2014 brought about a move to Mortec Park, on York Road in Leeds. This upgrade in our office space enabled us to continue to grow our team.

After negotiations with Mercedes-Benz and through meeting the strict requirements of vehicle quality, regulation and finance, we secured Leeds City Council Executive Private Hire operators license in 2018.

In 2023, we were incredibly proud to meet and surpass our post-pandemic recovery targets - taking huge steps in our business journey.

Last year, through the acquisition of Harrogate Chauffeurs, Elite Voyager and Galaxy Executive, we formed what was referred to as a 'Northern Powerhouse' by Professional Driver Magazine Editor, Mark Bursa.

Momentum that we rode into 2026, as we were awarded QSI Chauffeur Company of The Year Silver Award, in the category of Chauffeur Operator (11+ vehicles).

We had a very busy May, raising awareness of 'Go Purple' campaign, driving over 1,400 human passengers, and sharing St Gemma's news with them, thanks to the print pups at @.

The prize draw winner has been announced and we're excited to be providing a free chauffeur driven ride for them to the St Gemma's Winter Ball at New Dock Hall on 28th November.
