This week, our Managing Director, Paul Pedley, will be heading to Italy alongside Andrea Casagrande and our trusted partners at Kraal Company Trademare to attend Pitti Immagine Filati in Florence, one of Europe's leading textile industry exhibitions.

The textile sector continues to be one of Europe's most innovative and internationally connected industries, with manufacturers, suppliers and buyers working across borders every day.

For us, attending events like this isn't just about networking—it's about staying close to the industries we support, understanding emerging trends and strengthening the partnerships that help keep supply chains moving.

We're looking forward to meeting industry leaders, exploring the latest developments and continuing to build the strong relationships that have been at the heart of Viamaster's Italian operations for more than 20 years.

🚛 Role: Senior Operator

👋 About Jade:
Jade has nearly 11 years experience in the industry, dealing with various European markets, with a vast knowledge of customs procedures and the German market. In her previous role worked alongside Viamaster, and when she saw the opportunity advertised for the Senior Operator role, she was excited to apply knowing our background in international haulage.

💼 What she does:
Jade looks after the Germany and Netherlands export markets, having efficiency in planning, providing cost effective solutions to customers and ensuring deliveries are made on time.

🧡 Why Jade loves working at Viamaster:
"I love the team and it's a very relaxed and welcoming environment, I have been made to feel very at home during my time here."

🐌 Beyond the desk:
Jade enjoys getting out and about, walking and exploring new places. She tries to travel as much as she can and will never say no to an invite or event! Jade used to be quite creative in her spare time before becoming a full time parent. She also has giant African land snails - the biggest one being as long as her forearm!
