UPDATE: BUS STOP CLOSURE ON 478

We are pleased to say that the Woodlands Road bus stop in Effingham/Bookham heading towards Leatherhead is now reopen as the issues have been resolved and passengers can use this stop as normal now.

ROAD CLOSURE ON 478 ROUTE
Please be aware there is a Road Closure on Station Road in Leatherhead (on the one way system) due to a fallen tree blocking the road. This is currently in place until the end of the day today, although this may be extended into tomorrow morning. All 478 services to Leatherhead Station and Woodbridge Tesco will terminate at Leatherhead Leisure Centre (by Clark's Cafe) and start at the stop opposite.

ROAD CLOSURE AND ROAD WORKS ON 478 ROUTE
Please be aware there are road works on the 478 route at Bookham and Effingham, causing significant delays. There is also a road closure in Leatherhead on Kingston Road near Leatherhead Trinity School until 9/8, and the bus is diverted via Leret Way, Epsom Road, Leatherhead Bypass and A245 (up to The Plough pub). Stops along Kingston Road between the Plough roundabout and the one-way system are not being served during this closure.

The road has now been reopened and the 478 route is able to serve Leatherhead Station, Town Centre and Tesco as normal.

UPDATE FOR 478 ROUTE IN LEATHERHEAD
Due to the extension of the road closure by Thames Water, the 478 will continue to be unable to serve Leatherhead town centre, Tesco and Leatherhead Station until Friday 24th at present

Students with Reptons Coaches' school term bus passes for the Summer Term (2026) will be able to use their passes to travel for free on any of our routes over the Summer Holiday period (up to the end of August), to encourage use of sustainable travel in and around Surrey.

ROAD CLOSURE ON 513 AND 478 ROUTES
There are currently road closures on the 478 route in Leatherhead and the 513 route in Thames Ditton. Please see below for details:

478 road closure:
The 478 route is currently terminating at the Leisure Centre stop due to the closure of Waterway Road and Bridge Street by Thames Water. At present, this closure is due to be in place until 20th July, but as this is an emergency closure, this may change.

513 diversion:
The 513 route is unable to serve Speer Road or St Leonard's Road in Thames Ditton due to the closure of St Leonards's Road today between 0925 and 1530. The 513 is diverted via Station Road, Watts Road and Giggs Hill Road.
