It was a busy week for Ian and the crew. Running boat trips on the Duchess in the beautiful sunshine. And also becoming stars on local news and TV with Ian at the front and Martin driving the Duchess! Well done crew!

The Duchess of Cocklemoor had mud thrown on its roof and its bilge pumps turned off last month.

Good afternoon all you lovely people. I hope you’re having a fabulous Friday. Here’s an old painting of the Duchess, so you can share a little of her history.

Skipper Ian has asked me to contact you all to thank you for your overwhelming generosity it supporting the Duchess’ GoFundMe site and also to Kieran from Langport One Stop for your fundraising. The support of the community has been fantastic.

The crew are meeting tonight and would also like to convey their thanks so they are able to do what makes them happy. The weather has been kind this week, so the disruption to sailings have been minimal.

Good afternoon to all you lovely people. The Duchess is out on the Parrett today and it’s a marvellously sunny Monday.

Thanks to your generosity of spirit, the GoFundMe site has exceeded our expectations and Ian and the crew are so grateful for your support. This will help the Duchess to remain as a key attraction for Langport. They will keep you updated on the improvements as they happen.
