Driver James sent in these great photos from a recent full artic load delivery to Westbere, near Canterbury, where our Moffett made the offload simple for the customer. When a full load arrives on site and there’s limited or no forklift available, a Moffett is the perfect answer. Mounted to the rear of the vehicle, it allows our driver to unload safely, efficiently and exactly where the customer needs the goods placed.

It’s all about making deliveries easier, reducing disruption and removing the need for extra offloading equipment on site.

Drivers Ed and Rex were recently on site at the Union Gardens development to help lift and position a 4-tonne transformer, carefully landing it onto a temporary scaffold platform before the team skated it inside, positioned it, and jacked it down safely to ground level.

These are the types of jobs where planning, equipment and experience all matter. It’s not just about lifting the load, it’s about understanding the full journey from vehicle to final position, especially when access, levels and working space need to be carefully managed.

This wasn’t a simple A to B move. Machine Moves, Contract Lifts & Local Teamwork in Lancing came together to help our neighbours during a 3 day move. A project that involved the careful movement, lifting, transport and placement of production machinery and associated equipment, including machines that needed to be lifted and positioned onto and into the first floor of the new premises.

Our lifting and transport team worked closely with Addev and extra personnel from from a local machine specialist to deliver the project safely, efficiently and to the client’s full satisfaction.

It’s a great example of how a well-planned contract lift can support a business relocation, reduce risk and ensure valuable machinery is moved and positioned exactly where it needs to be.

Our low loader team recently moved a 15-tonne dozer from Southampton to Cobham for the expert team at CJW Golf International, supporting specialist golf course construction and groundworks.

James took these pics recently as our team were instructed to collect toilet pods from Knebworth Park after an Iron Maiden concert.
