Bit of a scarcity this one. New customer and lovely gentleman long time Saab owner and enthusiast purchased this excellent 2012 model 9-3 S-S Aero TTiD4 180bhp Griffin from a very well known East Anglian Saab specialist earlier this year. Somewhat unfortunately for the customer it was not sold as agreed as was later discovered when I was tasked to investigate if a full service, cambelt and water pump had been completed as part of the purchase. The specialist in question had however replaced the rear subframe with a good used fresh painted example but they had not set the geometry afterwards, evident initially by steering feel as it wandered over cats eyes and some road imperfections and oversteering when cornering particularly at speed.
Full service, cambelt w/p kit all sorted and full fourwheel alignment done old school measuring, adjusting, driving, checking, adjusting etc etc results in a great driving and handling Saab the way Saab intended. A thorough Tech 2 diag interrogation sorted a few issues, window pinch, two failed glow plugs, faulty EGR valve. Even the service info hadn't been reset in a long time and thousands of miles. Suffice to say it's a fully sorted very special Saab now it's receiving the sort of attention it should have been given by its previous carers before it came to me. Another very happy Saab Workshop customer and another new one at that :)
