💙💛 WER2 LOCAL BUSINESS OF THE WEEK 💛💙

We’re starting a new weekly feature at WER2 Taxis, shining a spotlight on some of the fantastic independent businesses we have right here in Hull.

🐟🍟 This week: Kingfisher Fish and Chips Spring Bank West

In our opinion, Hull’s best fish & chip shop! 👏

📍 577 Spring Bank West, Hull, HU3 6LD

Great food and a great local business — if you haven’t tried Kingfisher yet, give them a visit and support local. 🙌

Every week we’ll be featuring another Hull business that deserves some recognition.

Sunday mornings always have a story to tell… 👀🚕

The first WER2 jobs of the day can be a real mix.

✈️ Suitcases by the door, ready for an early airport run.

☕ Someone heading off for an early shift.

👨‍👩‍👧 A passenger travelling to spend the day with family.

And then, every now and again…

📱 “Can I get a taxi home from town please?”

It’s 6:17am on a Sunday morning.

At this point, you haven’t just had a night out…

You’ve completed a full shift. 😂🙈

That’s the beauty of taxi life — you never quite know who you’re going to meet or where the next journey will take you.

Whatever your Sunday morning looks like, WER2 Taxis are here to get you where you need to be. 💙💛

💙 More Than Just a Taxi Journey 💛

One of the things we’re most grateful for at WER2 Taxis is being trusted to be part of so many moments in our customers’ lives.

We take the same person to work week after week.

Then one morning, we might be taking them to an interview for a new job.

A few weeks later, we’re picking them up for their first day.

We take people out on first dates… then months later we might be taking that same couple to the airport for their first holiday together.

Years later, we could be providing the cars for their wedding.

We take families to hospital to welcome a new arrival, children to their first day at school, supporters to the football, families off on holiday and people home safely after a night out.

To us, it might be one of thousands of journeys we complete.

But to the person sitting in the back, it can be one of the biggest days of their life.

That’s why we never forget that WER2 is about much more than getting people from A to B.

We’re a local Hull business, driven by local people, and we’re incredibly grateful to every customer who chooses WER2. Every booking, recommendation, review and share helps support our drivers, our staff and a business that keeps its money here in our local community.

Thank you, Hull. 💙💛

For the everyday journeys and the really important ones — WER2 are here for you.

Another proud day for WER2 Taxis 💙💛

We’re delighted to have installed another WER2-sponsored Emergency Bleed Kit, this time on the vibrant Humber Street in Hull.

These kits are being funded thanks to the continued support of our loyal WER2 customers, helping us put potentially life-saving equipment in accessible locations across our city.

A massive thank you once again to Eddie Beedle Ltd for fitting the bleed kit, and to MyPad Hull for helping us secure this fantastic location.

This is another step forward for our WER2 Knives Down Campaign and our commitment to giving something back to the community that supports us.
