Everyone at Hull Wyke ARLFC is absolutely heartbroken to hear about little Otto’s diagnosis. There are no words that can truly express how devastating this must be for you all as a family.

Please know that the whole Wyke family is behind you every step of the way. Otto is clearly surrounded by so much love, and we hope you can make as many precious memories together as possible in the time ahead.

To our teammate and his family — we are thinking of you constantly and sending all our love and strength. Otto will always have the support of the Hull Wyke community behind him. 💙

We also want to give a huge amount of respect to Chloe Paterson for taking on the incredible challenge of running 215 miles to raise awareness for Krabbe disease and support Baby Otto.

A different perspective… ⚓️

On board the barge during the trial run ahead of Arctic Corsair’s move this summer.

The barge was fitted with spud legs to replicate the trawler’s exact draft, allowing teams to carefully test the process ahead of the move.

A date will be shared nearer the time, so you can be part of the trawler’s next chapter.

Last night we carried out a successful trial run of the planned journey for the Arctic Corsair with barges to a similar size alongside Deans Marine Services. This proved extremely valuable for everyone involved, helping us assess timings and identify any potential challenges along the route given the complexity of the move.

We are deeply grateful for the generous donation of antifouling and topside paint 🎨🖌️ to Good Pirates and tall thip Lord Nelson 🚢💙 from Dave Clark and the excellent team at Dunstons Ship Repair in Hull, East Yorkshire.

Thanks to this generous support, Lord Nelson will go into drydock with the necessary coatings for a major maintenance period after 7 years in the water 🌬️⛵🌍
