Delivered a new EV Skoda to this bus garage this morning in London .

Last time I was in here was when we delivered all the London buses for Inerdealer / Wrightbus .

During a 6 year period we delivered 600 buses all over the UK .

Very stressful times but satisfying meeting targets !

14 years ago seems like yesterday.

Five Star Vehicle Deliveries Limited is a vehicle transportation company based out of Kilmarnock, United Kingdom.

We specialize in the efficient and reliable delivery of vehicles, focusing on excellent service and customer satisfaction. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the safe and timely transport of vehicles to their intended destinations.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Car Transport HGV Class 2 driver located in Kilmarnock. The driver will be responsible for the safe nationwide transportation of vehicles, adhering to all regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. Daily tasks include loading and unloading vehicles, performing vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate delivery pods . The driver will also need to communicate effectively with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth operations. Monday to Friday with 3 or 4 nights out .

Qualifications

Valid Class 2 license and Truck Driving experience
Knowledge of DVSA Regulations
Experience in loading and unloading vehicles
Strong understanding of vehicle transport and care
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Experience in the transportation industry is a plus
Wages negotiable depending on experience .

We are looking for 2 Experienced HGV transporter drivers based in our Kilmarnock depot.

We won't consider outbasing a vehicle !

Candidates must have a valid cpc with minimum 3 years HGV experience and no more than 3 penalty points .

Daily vehicle checks is required .

References will be required.

Overnight allowance will be paid .

(1) HGV Class 2 6x2 with transporter engineering equipment.

(2) HGV Class 1 Artic with Voyager Transporter Engineering Equipment.

Job duties will be Monday - Friday with 4 nights out.
No weekend work required.

If you need home at 6 o'clock as you have commitments or you like to socialise through the week this isn't the job for you !

We pride ourselves on our operation to provide our customers with the best service possible.

We collect new and used vehicles nationwide with stringent vehicle appraisals for delivery to our valued customers. Some of these will be a digital handover so tech experience is an advantage.

Candidates must have a positive way of working , clean , professional mannerism with excellent customer service .

We would like to wish all our staff , friends, families & customers a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎉🎊

We will be back with the trucks and full staff on 8th January at 7am but will have skeleton staff on in between to keep the wheels in motion and our customers happy ❤
