Big news for anyone selling online into Europe – this change kicks in on 1 July 2026. 👇

The EU has agreed to apply a fixed €3 customs duty on small parcels valued at less than €150 entering the EU from outside the bloc. If you're a GB-based business that's been shipping to European customers under that threshold duty-free, those days are over.

The €3 charge applies per item category within a parcel – so if your shipment contains multiple product types, the charges add up quickly.

You'll either pass that cost to your customer at delivery, risking abandoned orders, or absorb it yourself and take the hit on your margins. ❌
