6th September marks something very special happening in at Lock 29 in Banbury. Our Travel Advisor Deanne is hosting the first Accessible Cruise Show from 11-2pm. Wheelie On The Waves- Accessible Cruising & Disability Advocacy
We will be attending as we have only been on cruises with one brand & in the future may be swayed towards other brands. As a full time Powerchair user holidays are often a logistical nightmare before I have left my house! For example-Have I booked an evacuation chair incase of emergency & support for my husband? Triple checking insurance, the overnight hotel, and parking? Have I printed all of the required documents & luggage labels? Which routes are we taking to to our destination? On those routes where can we do a pit stop? Exhausted thinking about it.
Having already booked a couple of upcoming trips with Deanne we put our trust in her to book everything required for us for the actual booking. For example she trawls through our bucket list cruise holiday destinations & finds the ship & accessible cabin with evacuation chair for us. This eliminates the endless phone calls.
So if you are interested in taking a cruise & do not know know how to get started with a booking take a trip to Banbury on Sunday. You will be able to speak to the brand companies & Deanne has organised guest speakers from 1130.
Let’s hope this is the first specialised show & there will be more to come!
