Good morning everyone, we continue to send our best wishes to everyone out there at this time. We hope you and your families are safe and well.

We are very grateful that one of our customers shared this beautiful poem with us today which was written by his wife.

This poem is from the perspective of their young lad, also pictured. 😢

Tanya Burnett, well played 👏🏼 and thank you from everyone at CGL for your beautiful words which I’m sure sums up how we have all felt at some point over the past few weeks. ❤️

I sit and wonder,
Where have all the people gone.
I wonder where they could be,
For weeks now it's only been Mummy and me.

The world is so silent,
Is that a bee I can hear.
There are no humans around my friend,
You have nothing to fear.

The parks are all empty,
The roads are all clear.
When will this silence end,
I hope noise is near.

I wonder where my Nanny is,
April is when she comes.
My Aunties, Uncle and Cousins,
I miss all the fun.

We haven't been to our church,
Where Mummy likes to pray.
The playgroups where my friends are,
I miss my special days.

I waved to Grandad from my window,
Why can't I have a cuddle,
This doesn't feel right.
Everything's in a muddle.

I've learnt my lesson now,
I know what we have done.
I appreciate earths beauty,
And the warmth I feel from the sun.

I promise to go a bit slower,
To look after the world the best I can.
I promise to be less greedy,
This was all in the plan.

I promise to be kinder,
To not complain quite as much.
To hold my loved ones close,
O to feel their touch.

As I sit and wonder,
Looking up at the clear blue sky.
Deep in my thoughts,
I slowly start to cry.

Good morning one and all,

Where do we start??

It’s been a little while since our last update, and how things have changed!
We last updated you when all the focus regards covid-19 was on China and unless you’ve been living on the moon you’ll know it’s very much not the case anymore with the whole world now very much involved and almost every country now following some distancing and/or lock down laws.

In terms of CGL, we remain active and ready to serve our customers new and old. Our office is being solely manned on a daily basis and will continue to be the case as long as postal service and couriers remain working.
All other employees are working remotely from their homes via laptops and are armed with all their files and supplies so you need not worry, we are as operational as we always are.

We’d like to take a moment to thank each and every healthcare worker across the world who are bravely putting themselves in the danger zone for the good of others and we salute you.

Some other HUGE shoutouts to each and every PORT WORKER, FREIGHT FORWARDER, TRANSPORT WORKER, WAREHOUSE WORKER and anyone and everyone linked to supply chain.
It’s these people that are continuing to work and deliver goods to warehouses and shops so there are items for us to to buy and/or be delivered to our door.

It’s time’s like these to put all rivalries aside and stand united for the greater good and humankind across the globe. ❤️

Look at this from our very own Heather Baalham.
For those that don’t know, Hev is a girl guide leader and her crew have been collecting for a local food bank in Ipswich.
Unfortunately the visit couldn’t go ahead but they’re making sure their donations reach such a worthy cause, even more worthy at this particular time.

CGL encourage you remember you local community and those less fortunate.

We at CGL wish to take a moment to remember our friend and colleague Callum McEwan (aka Dragon 🐉) who was sadly taken from us 4 years ago.
You are forever in our thoughts and so sadly missed every day.
Our thoughts as always are with his family x
