We believe that helping people to remain mobile, encouraging social interaction and providing companionship is at the very heart of living life to the full. We are flexible and able to adapt our services to meet the individual needs of older people, chil

dren, people with autism or learning disabilities, as well as those with physical disabilities or other health needs... we even take pets to the vet! For more than nine years, Driving Miss Daisy Ipswich has been quietly making a real difference across the local community.

From supporting older adults to attend hospital appointments and helping people living with dementia stay connected with friends and family, to assisting wheelchair users and giving SEND families greater independence, the team has become a trusted part of life for many people across Ipswich and the surrounding Suffolk communities.

What began as a local business has grown into one of the largest and most established Driving Miss Daisy franchises in the UK, with an experienced team, a fleet of accessible vehicles and strong partnerships across health, social care and the voluntary sector.
As owner Nigel prepares for a well-earned retirement, he leaves behind far more than a successful business. He leaves a legacy of compassion, dignity and community support.

“Owning Driving Miss Daisy Ipswich has been incredibly rewarding. We’ve built trusted relationships with our clients, their families and healthcare professionals, creating a business that genuinely makes a difference every day.

“As I retire, I hope someone with the same passion will continue what we’ve built and help even more people across Suffolk.”

At Driving Miss Daisy UK, we couldn’t be prouder of what Nigel and his team have achieved. Their commitment to putting people first perfectly represents everything our network stands for.

Now, an exciting new chapter begins.

We’re looking for someone who shares our values and wants to build on these incredible foundations. With an established client base, an experienced team, proven systems and comprehensive support from Driving Miss Daisy UK, this is a rare opportunity to own a thriving business that delivers both commercial success and genuine social impact.

If you’ve ever wanted to run a business that changes lives while becoming a respected part of your local community, we’d love to hear from you.

We often say 'every customer has a story to tell...'

Randall has enough stories to fill a couple of books at least - what a fascinating man and pleasure to be with, for example he was British Men's Trampoline Champion twice in the 60s, was a parachute instructor, drove astronaut Buzz Aldrin around Jordan for two weeks in his Rolls Royce, learnt to play the piano as an infant and has been married for over 70 years!
Amazing
